After all arches are standing use a torpedo level on the purlin. Start with the highest pier block and drill two holes staggered at the bottom of your arch and screw together. Then move to the next arch and lift up until level indicates that it is level, attach vise grips on pier block to hold arch up while you drill and insert screws. Repeat this process until all arches have been leveled and anchored to pier blocks.
